- Research a little more closely what is in our tap water and our so called government "standards" and how those are enforced. You wouldn't believe what is allowed. I worked in a science lab where we poured formaldehyde down the drain everyday.

- I don't get the outrage. You'd pay close to that for a couple bottles of dasani. And as someone else pointed out - all bottled water starts out as tap water.

- They've known that formaldehyde was a carcinogen for, like, 60 years. Anyone who's taken a chemistry or biology class knows this. I'm curious why the government would allow manufacturers to use it to begin with? I think ledgeroo hit the nail on the head.

- Maybe I'm a coldhearted bitch, but I see no reason why others should risk their lives to save someone who WILLINGLY and purposefully walks out into freezing water. He walked out there, right? If he wanted to he could have walked back up to the shore.

- I agree, Johnluci, her own actions prove her guilt. What mother would wait a month to report their daughter missing? I would report my kid missing within 5 minutes if I had no idea where they were. The whole thing is just too obvious in my opinion.

- I don't see what the big deal is. I've never met a circumcised man who wishes he had his foreskin back. I had both of my boys circumcised for health/cleanliness/aesthetic reasons and see nothing wrong with it. The dr. numbed it, and they didn't even fuss or cry.

- Oom Yaaqub: No we wouldn't be in trouble...all of those medical/engineering graduate school slots would have gone to one of the many overqualified Americans students who are perfectly qualified but get bumped down the admission list so that Universities can show that they "value diversity".
